Pesto

Cut down your basil plant and start using the influx of leaves you have right now. The second you start cutting that beautiful plant, the better it’ll get. And, with all of those leaves, you can make the greatest sauce in the world…pesto. I put pesto on my pasta, pizza, sandwiches, toast…literally everything. It’s so versatile and totally doesn’t have to be used just for pasta noodles. This recipe is a simple way to do it because let’s get real, not everyone just has pine nuts laying around their house. I think that most people would have the simple ingredients in this version of pesto and if not, no worries. This sauce isn’t picky. You can sub and omit as you please!
